Prior experience as a school nurse is preferred, but not required

JOB DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY
Job Summary:
Assumes the role of both school nurse and occupational health nurse in conformity to school and occupational health standards.
Basic functions include emergency response and first-aid, assistance during medical consultations. facilitation of physical examination, medical assistance, medical documentation, 7S implementation, assistance in ensuring a safe and healthful school environment, professional growth and performance of supervisory tasks as may be designated by the Department Head.
