Bachelor of Science in Social Work Specialization in Community Health Care - Curriculum A

Program Description

This program aims to produce graduates who will contribute in the promotion of well-being of individuals, groups, families and communities at the local, national, regional and international levels.  The curriculum follows the national and international standards.

The program has also been successful in producing graduates who are effective facilitators of human relationships at home, in school, in the workplace and in communities; responsible and accountable administrators; and popular advocates of child protection, gender-based initiatives, human rights and social justice. The students under this program can take two (2) licensure examinations after completing the 4-year course:  Licensure Examination for Social Workers and/or Licensure Examination for Teachers.  After taking this program, graduates can also choose from a variety of enriching employment opportunities where they can practice their chosen profession.

The program enjoys Level III accreditation from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU).
