CEU Sportsfest 2026 Committee
Centro Escolar University is gearing up for an exciting celebration of athleticism and camaraderie as Sportsfest 2026 officially kicks off with its Opening Ceremonies on February 20, 2026, at the Marikina Sports Center.
Carrying the theme “Sama-Saya sa Palakasan: Sportsfest 2026,” this year’s event highlights the values of unity, teamwork, and excellence. The opening program will present a variety of engaging performances and activities featuring the energy and talent of CEU’s student-athletes and performers. A major highlight of the ceremony is the field demonstration by freshman Physical Education students and the Mr. and Ms. CEU Sportsfest pageant.Adding to the excitement is the aero marathon dance competition.
Few days before the Opening Ceremonies, the athletes were gathered for the Sports Orientation at the CEU Librada Avelino Auditorium.
This year’s Sportsfest is spearheaded by the School of Nursing under the leadership of Dean Elvira Urgel, with Assistant to the Dean Mr. Erljohn Gomez. The event is guided by Carlito Olaer, Vice President for Student Affairs, as consultant. Through the collaborative efforts of dedicated committees and organizers, the University aims to deliver a memorable celebration.
