Academics

This program is in addition to the study of Bachelor of Music in Music Performance. This program provides students with the opportunity to become accomplished musicians. The prescribed curriculum will also prepare them for teaching music in K–12 settings and beyond. In addition to academic and performance requirements, students are required to complete fieldwork observations in music classes in area schools.  At the end of the program, students are eligible to take the Licensure Examination for Teachers and choose from a variety of enriching employment opportunities where they can practice their chosen profession.
