This certificate course in Diagnostic Pharmaceutical Agents (DPAs) is a two semester program that is open to all four-year graduates of Doctor of Optometry.  Following the prescribed curriculum, the program reviews the role of an optometrist pertaining to the use of diagnostic pharmacological agents in clinical practice. The four most common classes of DPAs are reviewed including anesthetics, mydriatics, cycloplegics and dyes.
