Academics

This four-year program is designed to serve the demand of the cosmetic industry. Students understand the concept and develop the technique in formulating cosmetics, toiletries and fragrances.  Following the prescribed curriculum, it further provides students entrepreneurial skills to prepare them in running their own cosmetic business after graduation. 

It offers an intensive practicum training program in local and international industries, academic institutions and research institutes like Bangkok Laboratory,  North Chiang Mai University and Manose Health and Beauty Research Center, Stalder group of companies, VMV, Belo, Amchem and  Dermpharma.  To discover new cosmetic bioactives and raw materials in creating new cosmetic products, the students are required to do an undergraduate research and have 300 hours laboratory training in the field of cosmetics, toiletries and fragrances.

The program, being rich in Chemistry courses, prepares the graduates to take the Chemical Technology Examination. Its graduates can also choose from a variety of enriching employment opportunities where they can practice their chosen profession.

To date, CEU is the first and the only university that offers BS Cosmetic Science in the Philippines.
