The program aims to develop competent and caring nurse educators to teach undergraduate students in the BS Nursing program. The graduates are expected to be clinical faculty in nursing educational institutions. This master's degree is a non-thesis program which can either be a terminal degree or geared towards completion of a
Master of Science in Nursing through bridging courses.
This is a one-year program to develop nurses to become faculty members and teach courses in the BS Nursing program in higher education institutions. The program consists of ten (10) courses that will enable them to earn 30 academic units to comply with the requirements for a master's degree.
The Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a special feature in the offering of this program whereby due credit equivalency is given for relevant clinical and teaching experiences to specific academic courses based on portfolio assessment.
