Program Description
This program offers a good mix of general education courses, which are relevant in the application of the pharmacy profession, and professional courses that will help prepare the graduates in acquiring competencies necessary in the workplace.
The program’s prescribed curriculum also includes pharmacy practice experience/ internships in the last year of the program where students will be assigned to different CHED- accredited affiliation establishments covering a period of 1200 hours distributed as follows: 300 hours in community pharmacy, 300 hours in hospital pharmacy, 300 hours in pharmaceutical industry, 120 hours in institutional pharmacy, and 180 hours in public health and regulatory pharmacy.
After taking this program, graduates can choose from a variety of enriching employment opportunities where they can practice their chosen profession.
The program is Level IV Reaccredited by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) as certified by the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) and is ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) certified.

Admission Criteria:
Students seeking admission to BS Pharmacy must be a senior high school graduate. Applicants shall obtain a score of at least 61 or belong to the 39th percentile and above in the CEU entrance examination.

At present the curriculum used by the BSP was developed and designed based on the provisional curriculum issued by PACOP while awaiting for the approval of the CMO, PSG for Pharmacy Education.

Nature of the Program:

Program Objectives:
The program aims to produce versatile graduates who can portray professional pharmacist, pharmaceutical care provider, researcher, manager and entrepreneur, and educator.
Specific Professions/ Careers/ Occupations for Graduates:
The graduates of BSP program may pursue a career in any of the following areas of pharmacy practice in the:
a. pharmaceutical manufacturing company in the production, planning and inventory control, quality assurance, research and drug development, sales and marketing and regulatory affairs;
b. academe;
c. hospital as hospital pharmacy department staff , chief pharmacist and as clinical pharmacist;
d. community pharmacy or drugstore as owner or employees;
