The creation of CEU Varsity for the University’s athletics program in CEU Manila proved to be a wise move as it brought home many coveted trophies in almost all events it played for the different leagues in Basketball Men and Women, Volleyball Men and Women, Futsal Men and Women, Cheerleading, Badminton, Swimming, Taekwondo, and Table Tennis. The University Scorpion varsity teams have remained to be the team to beat in the following leagues:
- WNCAA-Women’s National Collegiate Athletic Association
- MNCAA- Men’s National Collegiate Athletic Association
- UCBL – Universities and Colleges Basketball League
- NCRAA- National Capital Region Athletic Association
The CEU Scorpion Manila teams have also participated in Invitational Competitions such as the PBA D-League, BBI, PCABL, and PCL winning the championships for the University.
The CEU Malolos Varsity Team, on the other hand, plays for different leagues in Basketball Men in the Region. The team has participated and won in the following leagues:
- BCAA - Bulacan Collegiate Athletic Association
- PRISAA - Private Schools Athletic Association
