Centro Escolar University staged a four-day career development seminar for all its graduating students on February 3-6, 2020 at the CEU Librada Avelino Auditorium as initial preparation of graduating students to the corporate world.
With the theme, “Sharpening your Job Search Edge in the 21st Century Workforce”, the seminar aimed to guide the students with knowledge about proper attitude and values towards job interview, and job search.
The four-day seminar was enriched with interesting topics discussed by competent speakers who are CEU alumni themselves from the School of Optometry, School of Education, Liberal Arts, Music, and Social Work, School of Accountancy and Management, School of Nutrition and Hospitality Management, School of Science and Technology, School of Pharmacy, and School of Medical Technology. Representatives from Jobs180.com and Human Resource officers from different companies were also tapped to give career-related talks.
To make this annual event possible, the Career Placement Office under the supervision of Mr. Jericho P. Orlina, Assistant Vice President for Business Affairs with Mr. Walley Von Uy, Career Placement Staff collaborated with the University Student Council and Schools Student Councils.
