Centro Escolar University Graduate School forged a partnership with Pathways to Global Teaching and Learning, a division of Foreign Cultural Exchange Consultants Inc. (FCEC), designed to open international opportunities for graduate students pursuing Master of Arts in Education majoring in Special Education, Math, and Science.
This collaboration aims to equip future educators with the tools and support they need to succeed in US classrooms through access to mentoring, counseling, and specialized training modules tailored to meet the demands of international teaching.
A key highlight of this partnership is the opportunity for participating students to be interviewed as BridgeUSA program participants for Special Education teaching positions in the United States, once they have completed 30 academic units or the full Master's degree. This initiative provides a direct pathway to employment in U.S. schools, offering CEU students a chance to gain meaningful international teaching experience and expand their professional horizons.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed by key representatives from both institutions. Representing CEU were Dr. Ma. Cristina D. Padolina, President and Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Francis Yambao, Dean of the Graduate School, and Ms. Cristine Juan, Program Head of Education. Present from Pathways and FCEC were Mr. Prince Bermejo, General Manager of Pathways, and Ms. Joy Del Rosario, President of FCEC.
The signing marks a significant step forward in CEU’s commitment to producing globally competent educators who are prepared to meet the evolving needs of diverse learning environments around the world.
