CEU Strengthens Ties with Vietnam’s Paradise Group

In its second year of being the first Philippine University partner of Paradise Group, Centro Escolar University continues its tie-up for international internship program with Paradise Suites and Paradise Hotels and Cruises in Halong Bay, Vietnam.

The CEU School of Nutrition and Hospitality Management (SNHM) recently sent the second batch of interns to Vietnam for their on-board training. The six Tourism Management student-trainees are Kimberly Cruz, Lea Jean Lacorte, Jamaela Dioquino, Francis Arvin Borres, Paulo Abarado, and Elvie Gamad. They are set to come back in April to attend their commencement exercises.

Also, the University is sustaining its linkage with Phu Hai Resort, one of the leading resorts in Phan Thiet City, Vietnam. In fact, Ms. Joyce Magsino, a CEU alumna has been employed at Phu Hai. Ms. Trisha Mae Blas and Ms. Emyrae Hernandez are having their internship at the said resort and were accompanied by Ms. Janelle Villamor, Tourism Management Program Head to observe on the operations of the resort and assure a safe and quality implementation of their training. 

The on-board training of the students was made possible through the joint efforts of  Mr. Edgar Cayanan, Paradise Group’s General Manager and Ms. Villamor, as recommended by Dr. Cecilia Uncad, Dean, SNHM, as approved by the University President, Dr. Ma. Cristina Padolina.

Through the years, CEU School of Nutrition and Hospitality Management provides  its students opportunities to have their practicum in well-known accredited institutions, both local and international in order to give them thorough hands-on training they may soon apply in their actual field of practice.
