Centro Escolar University School of Medical Technology alumna, Ms. Dina Dela Paz-Stalder is listed as one of the 100 Most Influential Filipina women in the world this year by the Filipina Women’s Network (FWN) which falls in the Founder and Pioneer Category.
This global recognition honors Filipina women for their leadership capabilities in the company, community organization, or business that they helped establish or significantly grow by way of innovative practices, processes and/or technologies.
After earning a degree in Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology, Ms. Paz-Stalder initially worked as domestic helper in London while also studying facial skin care procedures. It was in 1986, when she returned to the Philippines. Despite the lack of finances, she worked hard to be able to put up her own business, the Stalder Laboratories, Inc. which was named after her Swiss husband, Mr. Christopher Stalder. Her lab is now one of the biggest skin care manufacturing companies in the country located in her hometown in San Pablo, Laguna.
With the theme, “Filipina Women: Leading. Advocating. Impacting.”, Ms. Paz-Stalder will receive her award on October 26, 2017 during the 14th Filipina Leadership Global Summit to be held in Toronto, Canada.
She is also a recipient of numerous awards such as the Global Excellence Awards for Filipino Achievers, Most Outstanding Entrepreneur for Skin Care Products Category 2005, National Shoppers Choice Awards for Facial Center 2005, Outstanding CEU Alumni Achievers Award 2005, Philippine Marketing Association’s Most Outstanding Facial and Skin Care Center 2005.
To date, Ms. Paz-Stalder is the President and Chief Executive Officer of BCP Dermatological Corporation, a dynamic company focused on dermatologicals, both pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. With the same position, she also leads Diana Stalder Skincare Center & DS Café, and Facially Yours.
