Centro Escolar University earned anew an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 certification.
The certification applies to all academic and support services functions in its Manila campus excluding School of Medicine and Senior High as well as all academic and support services and functions of the organization in its Makati and Malolos campuses excluding Senior High School.
As stated in the official website of SGS Philippines, the ISO 9001:2015 encourages increased external focus on quality management as part of its risk-based approach – work with SGS to transition to the new edition. It positions the new version of the standard as an integral part of an organization’s efforts towards sustainable development and promotes it as a tool for improving overall performance. It also encourages more internal and external stakeholder focus as part of the adoption of a risk-based approach to quality management and emphasizes the importance of adopting a Quality Management System (QMS) as a strategic decision for an organization.
This recognition attests to the University’s sustained quality assurance system which was able to satisfy the requirements and standards of the SGS.
