Centro Escolar University School of Science and Technology received 63 new books from Handong Global University in Pohang, Korea for its Psychology students and teachers.
Handong Global University is the newest international partner of the CEU School of Science and Technology. The School’s partnership with them started last year when Dr. Hyejeong Kim, an Associate Professor of Psychology in HGU and the director of Malaysia UNITWIN Program visited CEU Manila’s campus to discuss the UNESCO UNITWIN program, where CEU was chosen from among the other universities in the Philippines to be its beneficiary.
“We are welcoming Handong Global University as our newest partner and to join the long list of international collaborators that our School has kept for the past years for academic, research and cultural linkages. We hope that this new alliance will bring many productive and meaningful outcomes”, said Dr. Julieta Z. Dungca, Dean of the CEU School of Science and Technology.
Aside from the donated books, HGU also promised to share with the CEU Psychology students and faculty some online learning materials to complement what the faculty members have prepared and uploaded in the CEU LEAPS (Learning Engagement and Proficiency System), the University’s learning management platform.
