Centro Escolar University Las Piñas in cooperation with the Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) is set to hold training on Making the 21st Century Classrooms Active Through Brain-Friendly Teaching Learning Activities on January 26, 2017 at the Audio Visual Room at CEU Las Piñas.
The training-seminar aims to introduce among the educators in the elementary, secondary and tertiary levels in the Philippines significant breakthroughs in the field of neuroeducation that contribute to effective teaching and learning in support of the K to 12 curriculum and outcomes-based education.
Mr. Alvin S. Sicat, the seminar speaker will discuss topics on The Human Brain and Learning: Teaching the Basics, A Close Encounter with the 21st Century Learners: Brain Rules, Designing Brain Friendly Activities that Promote Active Learning From the Traditional Classroom to Highly Stimulating Environment.
CEU alumnus, Mr. Sicat is presently an English and Literature Faculty at CEU Makati and the adviser of The Rose and the Leaf Makati, the CEU official yearbook. He is a Broadcast Announcer in a local AM Radio Station in Nueva Ecija and a home school teacher with experience in handling learners with Learning Differences (LDs), English and Humanities.
