Centro Escolar University community participated in the 3rd Annual Health and Wellness Fair last November 11, 2016 at the Student Activity Center in CEU Manila.
Centered on the theme, “Changing Your Life thru Health Screening and Other Health Practices”, the annual health fair offered free medical services such as Blood Sugar Testing, Visual Acuity and Internal and External Eye Examination, Dental Screening, Blood Typing, Flu and Dengue Fever Vaccine Information Dissemination, Bread Sampling and Sale, Oral Health Care Awareness, and Medical Consultation.
Ms. Ma. Lindsay J. Alvarez gave a short talk on “Food Safety”, and Dr. Giovanni Paolo Nazario discussed “Dengue: Now a Vaccine Preventable Disease”, followed by a Lecture-Demo on “Basic Life Support” by the CEU Red Cross Youth.
The health fair is part of the CEU’s Quality Lifestyle Program (QLP) Year 5 and was organized by the CEU Health Services Department headed by Dr. Rosario Donalyne Magnibas and the overall activity Chairman Dr. Fresnida Ebreo.
