Centro Escolar University’s School of Education, Liberal Arts, Music and Social Work (SELAMS) celebrated its much anticipated SELAMSFEST last September 2-3, 2016.
With its theme “Celebrating Millenial Arts and Culture”, this year’s festival was filled with exciting activities.
A Street Photography Exhibit was staged on the first day at the CEU-MVH Lanai. SELAMS Extra Challenge was also conducted on the second day as teams consisted of students from the different courses of SELAMS competed with each other. Each team had to accomplish all stages within an hour, thus the fastest team won.
The highlight of this celebration was the SELAMS Night which usually happens on the last day. Students flocked at the Student Activity Center wearing their fashionable attires.
Few days before the actual event, print advertisements containing “hugot lines” were posted within the CEU-Manila campus which was revealed to be connected with the event’s theme, “#TheHugotChronicles”.
It was a chance for Escolarians to showcase their talents and skills, and develop a stronger sense of appreciation of various forms of local culture and arts. The festival served also as a time for fun and established camaraderie among the students.
