CEU to Hold PACE Training on Childhood Education Curriculum and Strategies

Centro Escolar University School of Education-Liberal Arts-Music-Social Work (SELAMS) in coordination with the Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) will conduct training on Curriculum and Strategies in Childhood Education on May 24-25, 2018 at the Multimedia Instructional Room (MIR) in CEU Manila.

The training-seminar will cover developmentally appropriate strategies in achieving quality Early Childhood Programs along the areas of curriculum, learning environment, teacher child interaction and parent education and involvement. The sessions aim to help the participants prepare integrated curriculum unit for Early Childhood Programs, to plan ideal learning environment for young children and to apply effective strategies in interacting with children and parents.

Dr. Maria Rita D. Lucas, Dean of SELAMS and Former Member of Technical Panel for Early Childhood and Special Education of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) will be the speaker on the training. Dr. Lucas will discuss topics on Integrated Curriculum for Early Childhood Programs, Ideal Learning Environment for Young Children, and Effective Strategies Interacting with Children and Parents.

The CEU-PACE is a center that addresses lifelong learning needs of individuals or organizations through the design and delivery of continuing professional education and training programs for individuals, organizations and communities.
