Centro Escolar University Lady Scorpions remained undefeated with its 7-peat victory in the recent Women’s National Collegiate Athletic Association (WNCAA) Seniors Basketball tournament held at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.
With the score of 70-37, the CEU Lady Scorpions beat the Philippine Women’s University Patriots. Cristine Caranto contributed 21 points in the finals game and an average point of 24.3 for the whole championship series making him this season’s Most Valuable Player. Caranto was also named part of the Mythical Five together with Divine Lacson.
Completing the team are Ysai Llosala, Jenina Solis, Stefhanie Ventura, Arlain Galgo, Mercy Lawan with Senior High School students Regine Joy Medico, Rosemarie Gayo, LJ Miranda, Laurene Mae Aduca and Reyzel Catana.
