Centro Escolar Las Piñas (CELP) in coordination with the Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) will conduct Media and Information Literacy seminar for Senior High School Teachers on August 12, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Audio-Visual Room in CELP campus.
The training aims to discuss current trends in communication and mass media, to critically read and understand mass media texts and apply the participants’ learning and skills in teaching communication and mass media literacy subject.
Professor Ricky Rosales, MC, DZMM Teleradyo News Anchor and CEU-Manila Mass Communication Program Head will be the first speaker to discuss Introduction to Media and Information Literacy and How to Read Media Texts. Advertising, PR, Entertainment and The Ratings Game will be the focus of the second speaker, Professor Julianne Domingo, MA. She is a Writer and Program Analyst of the Communications Team APT Entertainment, Inc. and Senior Lecturer in Advertising and Writing at CEU Manila.
