Proving to be a home of achievers, a group of Centro Escolar University (CEU) Marketing students ranked 3rd place in the recently concluded Agora Youth Awards held at Colegio de San Juan de Letran.
Officers of Centro Escolar Marketing Association (CEMARS), a college-based student organization, namely Mark Aleksei Campos, President, Jerico Felix, External Vice-President, Joseph Tardecilla, Executive Committee for Finance and Leinard Bondoc, Executive Committee for Administration represented the University in the mentioned Youth Marketing Awards giving body.
These Escolarians managed to reach the semi-finals through their excellent presentation of their accomplished activities for the school year. During the semi-finals, each group created a strategic marketing plan for the Philippine Marketing Association which aims to effectively encourage different sectors, mainly the youth to take part in the UN Global Compact for environment. After qualifying for the next round of the competition, the group again presented their marketing plan and bested the other universities and colleges all over the country.
The Agora Youth Awards is a nationwide search for new breed of marketers and is annually staged by the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA).
