Centro Escolar University-School of Nutrition and Hospitality Management (SNHM) sent two interns for the Student Internship Abroad Program (SIAP) under the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) at Phu Hai Resort in Phan Thiet City, Vietnam last October 25, 2016.
Jeanelle E. Zulueta, a 4th year Tourism Management student and Blessie Angelique D. Alcantara, a 4th year Hotel and Restaurant Management student were the selected on-the-job trainees for the five-month internship program.
As part of the SIAP, Ms. Janelle M. Villamor, Program Head of CEU Tourism Management, together with the two Escolarian interns went on an international visit and immersion program on resort operations last October 25-27.
Through the dynamic efforts of Ms. Villamor and able steering of Dr. Ma. Cristina D. Padolina, President and Chief Academic Officer of CEU and Dr. Cecilia C. Uncad, Dean of SNHM, the Phu Hai Resort and CEU-SNHM have reached four years of International partnership.
To date, three CEU Tourism alumni were employed in Phu Hai Resort namely, Ms. Althea Kharen V. Bravo, Ms. Jocelyn F. Magsino and Ms. Maria Patricia Adrienne P. Dioquino.
