CEU-AHRMS Expo 2016: A Success

The Centro Escolar University-Association of Hotel and Restaurant Management Students (AHRMS) recently held its annual Expo last October 6-8, 2016 at the Student Activity Center in CEU-Manila. 

Sophomore and Junior HRM students showcased their creativity through a display of fictional-inspired booths such as Alice in Wonderland, Harry Potter and The Wizard of Oz which were presented by some students dressed in character costumes. 

Several contests were lined up within the three-day event where Escolarians showed artistry and resourcefulness.

The Overall Food and Booth winner was the BSHRM3B, and the Overall Champion in Baking and Pastry Arts went to AHRM2A. Students from AHRM2C claimed the highest award in the Food and Beverage Competition, while AHRM2A ranked first in the Flower Arrangement. 

One of the event’s highlights is the AHRMS Expo 2016 Pageant which hailed the representatives from AHRM2C as God and Goddess of the Year. The Best Actor and Actress in a Protagonist Role Awards were bagged by BSHRM3C, while BSHRM3B’s representative was named the Best Villain.

AHRMS is an organization of the CEU-School of Nutrition and Hospitality Management which aims to support the University in its efforts to upgrade and maintain high standard of instruction in Hotel and Restaurant Administration and other related courses. It also aimed to develop good working habits, enhance creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, and the wise and economic use of indigenous materials to attain economic sufficiency and improve quality of life.
