Centro Escolar University-Professional and Continuing Education (CEU-PACE) will conduct the 7th Medical Technology Intensive Refresher Course on Saturday from November 12, 2016 to April 3, 2017.
This five-month Refresher Course is intended to strengthen and update the knowledge of Medical Technology graduates on the different courses in the board examination. It also aims to help the participants acquire mastery of the concepts in the different board examination courses, update knowledge on the trends and advances in the profession, develop self-confidence in taking the board examination, and develop worthwhile test-taking habits necessary in passing the board examination.
The training will consists of subjects on Goal Setting (2 hours), Human Anatomy and Physiology (8 hours), Microbiology 1 & 2 (28 hours), Parasitology (14 hours), Hematology 1 & 2 (28 hours), General Pathology, Histotechniques and Cytology (15 hours), Medical Technology Laws and Ethics with Lab Management (8 hours), Clinical Chemistry 1, 2, 3 with Pharmacology (28 hours), Serology and Immunology (15 hours), Blood Banking and Immunohematology (15 hours), Clinical Microscopy (15 hours) and Final Coaching (8 hours).
Graduates of CEU and other colleges of Medical Technology who have not passed the board examination or who have not taken the board examination yet feel the need for thorough preparation as well as non-board passers working other than as Medical Technology are encouraged to participate.
