CEU Folk Dance Troupe Performs at 30th SEA Games Opening

Centro Escolar University Folk Dance Troupe joined other Filipino performers in showcasing the rich culture of the Philippines and in making history during the 30th Southeast Asian Games Opening act at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

The CEU Folk Dance Troupe (CEU-FDT) composed of its former and current members performed graceful execution of the tribal dance Bagobo and La Jota Manileña, known for dancing while clacking the bamboo castanets. 

The Escolarian community expressed support to the CEU-FDT which is under the supervision of Dr. Carlito Olaer, Vice President for Student Affairs Office and Mr. Marciano Viri, Artistic Director.
