Centro Escolar University Makati Medical Technology Department alumni researchers nailed the oral paper presentation with their study Assessment of Eosinophil Count from Complete Blood Count Profile of Covid-19 Patients in a Selected Local Government Hospital” in the recent virtual University Research Forum 2022.
The group composed of Sabrina Rubin, Glydel Kaye Acera, Johanna Mae Cervantes, Elijah Galande, Sahana Ganeshasivananthan, Mikaella Marie Llamado, and Shiela Carmela Tango with Mrs. Maria Carmen Dizon as research adviser.
The study on “Occupational Stress and Professional Fulfillment on the Psychological Well-Being of Hospital Pharmacists during COVID-19 Pandemic: A Correlational Study” by the School of Pharmacy finished 2nd runner-up in the same competition category.
For the poster presentation contest, the School of Dentistry’s “Dental Practitioners’ Perception on Teledentistry” was named as Best Poster. It was followed by CEU Malolos and the School of Nursing.
There were eight other groups who presented their papers for the undergraduate research. Before the presentation, Dr. Hilton Lam, Director of the Institute of Health Policy and Development, National Institute of Health at the University of the Philippines-Diliman delivered his message as keynote speaker. In the afternoon, the program proceeded on the presentation of the Graduate School and Faculty Research.
The University Research forum spearheaded by Dr. Erna Yabut, Vice President for Research and Evaluation is a continuous effort of CEU to inculcate a research culture within its community. This year’s forum highlighted the research completed during School Year 2020-2021.
