Seventeen aspiring lawyers of Centro Escolar University-School of Law and Jurisprudence (CEU-SLAJ) successfully passed the 2019 Bar Examination which translates to 32% passing percentage against the 27.36% national passing percentage.
Joining the 2,103 new lawyers as announced by The Supreme Court are Dan Oliver Austria, Mack Hale Bunagan, Riza Cabiles, John Kelly Cainday, Glenda Jaygee Calagui, Romeo Alexis Devora, Sheena Maniquis-Dioneda, Egwin Lamanilao, Jeoy Laverinto, Grafer-Carl Lentejas, Maurice Victoria Manuel, Nomar Jethro Mata, Janine Faye Napoles, John Joseph Ona, Cesar Ruperto Ong, Danica Stephanie Novilla, and Carlo ValerianoToral.
For the previous years, the CEU-SLAJ has been exhibiting outstanding examination results and was even listed as one of the 15 Highest Ranked Law Schools in Overall passing rate and of the 15 Highest Ranked Law Schools in the passing rate for first-time examinees in 2016.
