VACANT POSITIONS

SUMMARY: 
Provides guidance and counseling to the students with the aid of different psychological
assessment tools and collects inputs from peers, teachers, parents, deans, and other 
members of the CEU community.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducts individual and group counseling, career counseling, and holds/facilitates
    group dynamics activities
  • Confers with parents, teachers, deans, and other members of the CEU community
    regarding the students' personal and psycho-emotional well-being affecting their
    academic status
  • Makes follow-ups on students' progress
  • Makes referrals of students to other specialized agencies
  • Conducts career and educational planning activities
  • Conducts research through the utilization of the Guidance and Counseling Dept.
  • Participates in professional growth activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be a holder of Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling 
  • Must be a Registered Guidance Counselor or a Registered Psychometrician 
  • Prior experience in the field of guidance and counseling is preferred

SPECIFIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

SUMMARY: 
Under the direct supervision of the Department Head, attends to the overall 
cleanliness and orderliness of the laboratory, and attends to the needs of the teachers
and students, researchers, particularly in the issuance of materials needed in the laboratories

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In-charge of the preparation and cleanliness of cadavers for the students and teachers
  • Prepares and issues requested instructional laboratory materials, reagents, and equipment
    by the faculty and students
  • Checks and monitors installed equipment inside the laboratory rooms of designated area
  • Prepares and maintains appropriate reports like inventories of chemicals and glassware,
    calibration reports, equipment service cards, and other 
  • Performs in-house preventive maintenance/calibrations of the different laboratory equipment
    in designated areas
  • Repairs and troubleshoots some laboratory equipment
  • Helps maintains the cleanliness of the laboratory stockrooms

QUALIFICATIONS:​​

  • Must be a Licensed Embalmer
  • With training on laboratory procedures and processes is highly preferred

SUMMARY: 
Under the supervision of the Head of the Library, oversees the smooth delivery of services, the maintenance
of cleanliness and orderliness, the over-all filing and organization of the records and the collection in the section
or unit assignment

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Cataloging and classification of knowledge or sources of information into relevant organized collections
    and creation of a local database for speedy access, retrieval, and delivery of information
  • Establishment of library system and procedures
  • Rendering of services involving technical knowledge/expertise in abstracting, indexing, cataloging, and 
    classifying
  • Teaching, lecturing and conducts library orientation on library facilities, resources, and services

QUALIFICATIONS:​​

  • A graduate of Library Science or related course 
  • Must be a Licensed Librarian
  • Prior experience as a School Librarian is preferred, but not required

SUMMARY: 
Assumes the role of both school nurse and occupational health nurse in conformity to school and occupational
health standards. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responds promptly to emergency calls within the campus during duty hours
  • Takes vital signs and administers first aid during emergency cases
  • Administers injectible medicines available at the clinic as directed by the Physician
  • Performs procedures such as dressing of wounds, bandaging, immunization, or 
    other related procedures upon instruction of the attending physician
  • Maintains and ensures on a daily basis orderly filing of Medical Health Records 
    of students, employees and all patients seen at the clinic

QUALIFICATIONS:​​

  • Must be a Registered Nurse
  • A graduate of BS Nursing 
  • Prior experience as a School Nurse is preferred, but not required

SUMMARY: 
Responsible for the efficient operations of his/her assigned support services department. 
Aside from the day-to-day operations, it is the head's primary responsibility to ensure the
personal and professional development of the employees assigned in his/her department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recommends policies and procedures relevant to the efficient operations of the 
    department, as well as its improvement
  • Communicates updates in the department's policies and procedures to the 
    employees
  • Organizes the department for effective achievement of operational goals
  • Coaches direct reports, as needed, on the effective discharge of his/her functions
  • Prepares the annual operations plan and budget of the department

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Holder of at least a Master's Degree, preferably Master in Business Administration
     or any related program

  • Imparts a set of knowledge and skills to students, according to his/her field of 
    specialization and the subject at hand
  • Sees to the effective implementation of the college and university policies in 
    his/her dealings with the students 
  • Records, computes, and encodes the grades of the students accurately

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Obtained at least a Master's Degree in his or her field 
  • With relevant teaching and professional experience

SPECIFIC SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent oral and written English Communication skills
  • Selection of appropriate instructional media
  • Application of a variety of learning interventions
