The School of Dentistry is committed to provide quality dental education that ensures the total development of its graduates to become competent and well-rounded dental professionals.
The graduates of the School of Dentistry program must be able to:
PO1. Demonstrate in depth knowledge of normal human structure and function, as well as abnormal and pathologic structures.
PO2. Practice optimal care for patients through accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
PO3. Demonstrate effective communication skills and confidence in applying systematic approach to diagnosis and providing comprehensive oral
care using interdisciplinary approach to patients of diverse origins.
PO4. Demonstrate knowledge, skills and confidence in interdisciplinary approach to patient management.
PO5. Fortify skills in basic, experimental and clinical researches; disseminate research outputs and findings; and continue to the development of
new treatment options.
PO6. Apply the principle of entrepreneurship, business practices and processes and innovative technology in dentistry.
PO7. Engage in lifelong learning and understanding of the need to keep abreast with the current trends in the field of dentistry.
PO8. Demonstrate social responsibility through involvement in community outreach programs.
PO9. Apply legal and ethical/ moral standards in the practice.
