This is a two-year graduate program that provides students with an opportunity to develop mastery of the biological concepts and principles as they are applied in biological research and investigation while manifesting the highest ethical standards in research. Students are required to produce research (thesis) paper with the aim of discovering new biological concepts to address relevant environmental and biomedical issues. The program’s prescribed curriculum includes advanced courses in Microbiology, Cell and Molecular Biology, Genetics, Ecology, Biotechnology, and Systematic Biology.

The program is granted with the Highest Level of Accreditation, Level IV, by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) as certified by Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP).
