Program Description

The Social Work program is dedicated to producing graduates who will play a pivotal role in enhancing the well-being of individuals, families, groups, and communities across local, national, regional, and international spheres. The program’s curriculum is rigorously designed to meet both national and international standards, ensuring that students are well-prepared to address the diverse challenges facing society today.

Our program has a proven track record of developing graduates who are highly effective in facilitating human relationships in various environments—whether at home, in schools, workplaces, or communities. Graduates emerge as responsible leaders, accountable administrators, and passionate advocates for social causes, including child protection, gender equality, human rights, and social justice.

Students in this program have the opportunity to take two licensure examinations upon completion of their 4-year course: the Licensure Examination for Social Workers and/or the Licensure Examination for Teachers. This dual pathway allows graduates to access a wide array of career opportunities, offering them the flexibility to practice in their chosen field while pursuing fulfilling and impactful work.

The program enjoys Level III accreditation from the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges, and Universities (PAASCU), a testament to its academic excellence. Additionally, it holds the distinction of being the first and only social work program in the Philippines certified by the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA), ensuring that students receive an education that meets the highest standards of quality and global relevance.
