Health Services
Objectives

- To initially manage emergency cases, recognize life threatening conditions and have proper and appropriate. referral system.
- To render continuing medical/dental care to maintain the health of CEU community and effective referral. system

- Ocular inspection of CEU facilities and do necessary recommendation to decrease incidence of accidents within the University.
- On the spot food and water analysis at the canteen and drinking fountains within the campus.
- Coordinate with the canteen owners regarding the health certificate of their food handlers.
- Checklist (IEC) Instruction Education Chart, Materials/Poster
- Fumigation, dredging of estero along Mendiola bridge-to eradicate zero cases of mosquito borne diseases
- Hepatitis B Vaccine
- To conduct chairside instruction during consultation to increase knowledge of students, faculty and staff about common health problems.
- History taking Physical examination
- Monitoring of signs and symptoms
- Proper referral to affiliated hospital (thru HMO of person concern)

CEU Canteen
Meals and snacks are available at the main cafeteria located at the ground floor of the Dionisio C. Tiongco Hall. Food services for meetings and other functions may be availed of through this unit. Several units are well-distributed around the campus.

SAO Tuition Fee Loan
A tuition fee loan of Php3,500.00 may be granted to any bona fide student for tuition fee payment for the first, second or third grading examination, or to a second, third or fourth year student for enrolment purposes.

Emergency Loan
An emergency loan of PhP1,500.00 may be given to a student who is a victim of disaster/calamity like fire, typhoon, lahar or death or any other forms of emergency like pick-pocket/robbery and hold-up.

Student-Personal Insurance Claim
It is extended to any bona fide CEU student who gets injured or meets with an accident inside or outside the University Campus.

University Student Council Grants (For Non-USC Officers)
Full grant (100% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees) may be given to an applicant whose weighted average is above 1.75. Partial grant (50% discount on tuition and miscellaneous fees) may be given to an applicant whose weighted average is below 1.75 but not lower than 2.50.
Applicant must meet the criteria below:
- Male/Female bona fide student of Centro Escolar University.
- Has at least a weighted average of 1.75 for full grantee, a
weighted average below 1.75 but not lower than 2.50 for partial
grantee during the previous semester.
- Must carry at least fifteen (15) units or full load.
- Without any documented serious/less serious violation of the
University rules and regulations or any violation punishable with
suspension.
- Not enjoying any other scholarship/grant.
- Financially in need.
- Should be able to render at least four (4) hours a week of
service/assistance at the Student Affairs Office and should be
able to render assistance to the USC if the need arises.

Educational Foundation (EF) Grant
- The Educational Foundation (EF) Grant shall be available only to financially distressed,
graduating CEU students.
- The grant shall consist of 50% subsidy on tuition and miscellaneous fees.
- The applicant shall have:
- no failing grades and a grade average of not lower than 2.5 during
the preceding semester.
- no record of violation punishable with suspension.

KKK Financial Assistance
Any member of the CEU Community who is a victim of a calamity/disaster may apply for financial assistance through the School/College Dean/Department Head who will make appropriate recommendation. The letter accompanied by a certification from the Barangay Chairman showing that the applicant's property has been seriously affected shall be addressed to the KKK Overall Chairman who shall grant approval.
