The Community Outreach Department in line with the mission of CEU, instills Science and Virtue in the students to the end that they excel not only academically but morally and socially as well.

The Department provides an opportunity to develop and deepen sense of community awareness regarding the different social problems, concerns, needs and issues that affect the lives of the people and prevent them from maximizing their full potentials in becoming productive citizens. It provides technical assistance and conducts various relevant activities to promote community self-reliance and partnership with Centro Escolar University.

Mission

The Community Outreach Department (COD) has been established based on the imperative of the school to actively participate in community education and service.

Considering CEU's important role in people empowerment and social development, COD, imbued with the values of love, care, and concern for people, commits itself to:

• maximize existing manpower and material resources of CEU in order to serve impoverished families, groups and communities;
• develop a more facilitative network of cooperation and coordination between and among schools/colleges and organizations within the university;
• promote the highest level and degree of volunteerism among students, faculty and non-teaching personnel;
• contribute in the inculcation of values of social responsibility and promotion of a dignified life for all, within and outside the university.

Mission

The CEU Health Services Department aims to provide the best Medical and Dental care possible in the school setting, emphasizing both the preventive and creative approaches and enhanced by an efficient referral system.

Vision Statement

To maintain healthful educational environment and condition conducive for learning and to promote and maintain healthy working environment towards a healthy school populace.

Strategies

• Annual medical/dental physical examination
• Freshmen orientation on the common health problem encountered and how to prevent it
• Chairside/bedside instructions and consultation
• Integrate health instruction in curriculum
• Orientation seminar on sports related injury and latest trend in management
• Lectures/seminar on common prevalent health problem diseases and its management
• Health updates in the bulletin board

Values

To inculcate in the minds of the student the value of good health thru health teaching on proper nutrition, exercise and personal/environment hygiene because when you have a healthy body, you will have a healthy mind conducive to learning.

It is the highest governing body or official organization of all bona fide college students at CEU. Its officers are elected by student representatives who are council officers of the different schools/ colleges in the University. The school/college student councils are as follows:

The USC represents the student where their rights and interests are concerned. It trains students in leadership, fosters appreciation for self-government, encourages initiative and participation in the activities of the University, and promotes wholesome companionship. All bona fide college students of CEU, Manila shall enjoy membership in the University Student Council upon payment of the membership fee.

Mission

The University Student Council, the highest governing student body in Centro Escolar University, is committed to serve the studentry and provide them with quality activities and opportunities that will promote student development and welfare and ensure understanding and unity among students, between students and faculty members and students and administrators.

It serves to meet the spiritual needs of all. The chapel is provided with space and facilities near the Blessed Sacrament for private adoration and personal prayers. Annually, retreats for students in the collegiate levels and all those for faulty members and other employees are held in this chapel. For educational growth of students, symposia and classes are held inside the chapel.
