To
enhance leadership skills and to stress the significant
role of the
youth in nation-building, the School of Pharmacy
held its annual Leadership Training Seminar (LTS)
on August 7, 2007 at the ISC Mezzanine with the
theme: “To Lead is to Serve: Let’s
Do it!”.
The event was participated in by the
Pharmacy Student Council, Junior Philippine Pharmaceutical
Association-Beta Chapter; SOP-COMPASS and year-level
officers and was graced by the presence of CEU
President, Dr. Ma. Cristina D. Padolina. In her
inspirational talk, she expressed that leadership
is not all about power or position but service.
She also led the induction of this year’s
new batch of officers.
The guest speaker, Ms. Marilyn
Frisco, a scholar and a graduate of Bachelor
of Science in Management Engineering from Ateneo
de
Manila University, discussed the foundations
of being leaders and their role in the country
as
nation-builders.
The training was staged through
the efforts of Asst. Prof. Ramon I. Andal Jr.,
School of Pharmacy Student Council Adviser
and Joan Grace Clavio as over-all student chair
together with the faculty and students. CEU
