The CEU Graduate School was organized in 1926 during the
administration of Doña Librada V. Avelino, founder
and first CEU President, with Dr. Concepcion A. Aguila as
the first Graduate School Dean.
Since then, it has earned a reputation for producing well-trained
professionals who excel in their practice in the Philippines
and around the world. The intensive and updated training provided
by the School’s professors equip students with the skills
and knowledge they need to build successful careers.
OBJECTIVES
The principal aim of graduate study is the development of
intellectual independence and leadership through the cultivation
of the scientific, critical, and creative faculties of the
mind, and the promotion of expertise in research.
Specifically, the various fields of specialization provide
intensive training for professional workers in specific areas;
seek to develop leaders/executives through in-depth studies,
fieldwork, and research; and finally, promote an integrated
understanding of the person’s place in society.
